TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Booking & Payments

A deposit of 20% is required to secure your expedition slot. The remaining balance must be cleared upon arrival in Kathmandu or 30 days prior to departure. All payments are processed securely via Stripe or Bank Transfer.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made 60 days prior to departure will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 30-59 days will forfeit the deposit. Trips cancelled by EHT due to weather or political instability will be fully refunded or rescheduled at no extra cost.

3. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all clients. It must cover helicopter evacuation up to 6,000m, medical expenses, and trip cancellation. Proof of insurance must be provided before the trek begins.

4. Risk Acknowledgement

Trekking in the Himalayas involves inherent risks including altitude sickness, unpredictable weather, and rugged terrain. By booking, you acknowledge these risks and agree that EHT is not liable for accidents beyond our reasonable control.
